I come from France and I basically studied in Poland where I have been living since then…
Almost 20 years working on bi-national projects between French and Polish stakeholders. 7 years working in global companies coordinating IT projects and moderating customers’ needs with production capabilities.
The company “KIERUNEK FRANCJA” was primarily founded in 2017 and focused on French-speaking customers of IoT solutions and IT engineering with knowledge and assets aimed at collecting, transferring and integrating data from energy meters. The solution was distributed on Orange Live Object in Poland and we had one partner distributing our devices in France. Let me tell you a bit more how this cooperation gave birth to KIERUNEK FRANCJA:
With Nextep Technologies, it is a long history: everything started with networking and I started working for the team in 2015, first at full time, later as a freelancer (hence KIERUNEK FRANCJA setup) and have still kept in touch with the team of IT developers and general management. Cooperation started in summer 2022 (look at my shirt below:-)
After a few years of experience, I decided to focus on Cybersecurity and data protection technologies and do my best to promote those solutions mainly inside the European Union.

We create business contacts for Polish tech companies looking for business relations with distributors or partners in France and other European countries. In other words, we help you to match your company and product profiles with French partners’ profiles and get closer with tech businesses in France and other countries outside Poland.
No direct selling. In other words, we focus more on indirect sales throughout a network of resellers and distributors rather than on direct sales to medium or big companies (so called account management). The thing is to get and keep on the long run a good relationship with resellers and distributors as it shall be more effective and less time-consuming than maintaining them with key accounts. Unlike Techno Pol France, Resellers and distributors are acting on the targeted markets, that’s why they are so precious for us.
TECHNO POL FRANCE IS A TRADEMARK BELONGING TO KIERUNEK FRANCJA GILDAS MALANDAIN, PRIVATE COMPANY REGISTERED IN POLAND, AND COMMERCIAL AGENT APPOINTED BY THE FOLLOWING LIMITED COMPANIES.
TECHNOPOL is a play on words because in French language, “technopôle” is a technological park, and TECHNO POL also stands for “POLish TECHNOlogies“. The French word “Pôle” comes from ancient greak πόλις and means a city, as the center of life for most people living in place and around there.
“KIERUNEK FRANCJA” ARE POLISH WORDS MEANING “DIRECTION FRANCE” AS WE DO FOCUS ON LOCAL TECH PROVIDERS FROM POLAND PLANNING SALES DEVELOPMENT TO FRANCE OR OTHER EU COUNTRIES.
Basically I organize on-line meetings between European partners or distributors and consultants from the Polish tech vendors (cybersecurity) I represent.
From my experience, standard products from Poland are to be sold on the French and EU market if prices are low and product quantities high. The commercial relation often turns out to become a relationship between contractor and subcontractor. In other words, no win-win situation at all…
What we do at KIERUNEK FRANCJA and TECHNO POL FRANCE is not offshoring French and richer EU countries production to Poland. On the contrary, we focus on creating value added for both tech companies from Poland and other EU country.
I think nowadays it is worth and profitable to make the difference between “outsourcing”/”offshoring” and “near-shoring”. As per “near-shoring”, we understand close cooperation in terms of time, reactivity and cultural or legal issues with your supplier or vendor. For example, IT guys approach to work and working hours should be close to customer and shall enhance proper communication. With near-shoring, you may rely more on your IT provider than with basic IT outsourcing. For instance, you may also save time in reporting and might smoothly communicate with your IT provider.
“By contrast, non-standard and tailor-made solutions or products under EU law protection are likely to generate higher unit margin and profits for you, buyers or brokers, and cheaper solutions for you, end-users, based in France or other EU country.”
“Hence my idea to identify French or other EU tech distributors likely to try and check Polish tech providers already done with successful solutions at home. In other words, my idea is to become a kind of on-line commercial agent promoting transnational tech businesses made in Poland. And also be close to those tech providers, for me to feel trust or not with each of them and share this trust with you. That’s why I created the “Kierunek Francja” company (“Direction France” in Polish language).
“Our company supports tech distributors, investors or basically purchasers in their tech procurement process. And find tech suppliers, vendors or solution providers that do fit with your technical requirements. You can also count on us to maintain the relationship after the first sales transaction.”
Lots of investors focus on AI and machine learning developments. Why not thinking in cyber security developments…
Founder of Kierunek Francja and on-line transnational commercial agent
For our vendors, get to know us in Polish language:
And for our customers, get to know us in French (Spanish coming next – actually the room is already branded as Barcelona:-)
Thanks a lot to one of the Kielce Technology Park employee who shot the video for me on my kind request.
I used to cooperate with French and Belgium vendors – I worked for one of the biggest reseller of cyber security solutions on the Belgium market. Thanks to this cooperation, I had the opportunity to meet a lot of European vendors in the field of cyber security. Some of them are keen to approach the Polish market with me and Techno Pol France…
The more people you know, the bigger the market is.
So we can say it is the beginning of another endeavor, so as to make trade of cyber security technologies not only from Poland to France or other EU countries but also towards Poland. As per living in Poland and close to decision centers (often based in the capital, Warsaw, some two-hours drive from home), I will now have the opportunity to be close to potential distributors, integrators and big accounts FOR YOU, EUROPEAN VENDOR. Should you work for such a vendor and want to approach the Polish market, please let me know!
